While Middlesbrough haven’t given up on this season’s play-off hopes – Boro boss Neil Warnock is already looking towards the 2020/21 campaign.

Warnock has already been assessing players who could be available in the summer – with signing at least another striker the priority.

Boro will also have to make decisions on several players who will be out of contract at the end of the season, while there are also players on loan whose futures remain unclear.

The Teessiders have already handed out multiple contract extensions this term, with the likes of Anfernee Dijksteel, Marc Bola, Paddy McNair and Jonny Howson penning new deals at the Riverside.

Warnock recently held a meeting with Boro chairman Steve Gibson to discuss a range of topics, including transfers and contracts.
