Boro haven’t won for three matches but did produce an improved performance against league leaders Norwich last weekend.
The Teessiders have also been boosted by a successful transfer deadline day which saw them bring in former Cardiff winger Nathaniel Mendez-Laing and Neeskens Kebano on loan from Fulham.
Warnock has admitted Mendez-Laing will take a while to get up to speed as he hasn’t played a competitive match for months.
Boro defender Dael Fry is also a doubt after suffering a calf issue against Norwich last weekend, meaning centre-back Grant Hall may receive a chance to return following his injury setback.
Anfernee Dijksteel is also back in training after a couple of games out.
