After their dramatic penalty shoot-out victory over Manchester United on Friday, Midldesbrough will have been hopeful of another win against Queen’s Park Rangers.
Illais Chair opened the scoring for the hosts, before Dael Fry equalised shortly before half-time.
However, Chris Willock regained the lead as soon as the second half resumed, before an own goal by former Boro-winger Albert Adomah handed Chris Wilder’s team a point.
Boro will now look to return to winning ways as they host Derby County this weekend.
