@Smithy_MFC84: JW deserves the plaudits he’s getting at the moment, nobody saw that coming today. Things can change so quickly, and it could all turn ugly again, but if it does we have to stick by JW.

@brucierioch: If you're prepared to criticise (like me) you've also got to man up & be able to give praise when fortunes turns. I'd say over the course of the season to date I've done both. So well done Woodgate & the lads for the recent turn of fortunes.

@glaswegian78: Gotta say that today was an absolute team performance from@start to finish and the Young’s lads are afresh of breath air . Attack attack attack first thought

@Chris_Garbutt87: Home from The Hawthorns. Thought the lads were outstanding today, showed quality in parts and total grit and determination throughout. Ayala, Saville and Howson were superb. Great to see the togetherness in the team in the celebrations at the end. Keep it going

@jridg21: Incredible performance from every single Boro player on that pitch. West Brom's 14-match run without defeat and an unbeaten home record stretching back to February is destroyed by us! @AshFletcher___ goal was unreal! An away win at last!

@Chris1787H: I had my doubts and criticised him early on in the season when he did look out of his depth but, I’ll hold my hands up and say credit where it’s due to Jonathan Woodgate! What a turnaround this month! He’s found his shape, style and starting XI. Onwards and Upwards!

@LeeJBBC: 13pts from a possible 18pts in December. Remarkable turnaround. Surely Woody has a shout for Manager of the Month.

@1974clemo: Gotta admit not woody biggest fan but the team are playing for him, gotta get behind him I guess

@We_are_Boro: Pears 21, Spence 19, Fry 22, Coulson 21. So important we keep Ayala & Howson’s experience in there. Biggest plus this season has been the emergence of our youth players. They can only get better with experience. Add to the above Tav 20, who has been great over the last month.

@ryanblackwood13: Ashley Fletcher take an efffing bow son!! Quite simply a sublime performance from that Boro team today from KO to FT we worked for each other. Best display all season. Hat off to Woody. Let's kick in into 2020..... Happy new year Boro fans
