@Smithy_MFC84: Had JW stayed, who knows whether we’d have gone down? However, Gibson saw fit to make the change and credit must go to him for that. Credit to Warnock too, he’s done what was asked of him in pretty trying circumstances, an achievement that should not be downplayed.

@MichaelTG91: A very poor season actually ends in a positive light. Warnock is definitely the man to take us forward, but that is Steve Gibson and Neil Warnock's decision to make. Very good performances on the road and hopefully next season we can turn in some home performances.

@dannycarlisle15: Warnock, 71.. Admittedly he could do a job. Would love to see him a part of Boro, but have to say I’d be giving the reins to Nigel Pearson myself. Build a team that can challenge for the next few years.

@GinaRobbo94: Hardest season to be a @Boro fan but I'm so glad we managed to stay up - now Warnock can take us on a promotion run

@craigylilo: 4 wins from 8, finishing on 53 points. Job done Neil Warnock! Well done, thank you and see you next season UTB

@viacreative: Awesome tonight from @Boro considering our form pre lockdown to fire off 4 straight away wins is pretty special but huge thanks to Neil Warnock for saving our team and town from league 1 mediocrity Now please Mr Gibson no more rookie managers

@JCoates1992: I always said about Warnock he’s one of those managers where when he’s the opposing team’s manager you absolutely hate his guts. But when he’s your manager you love him. Saved our skin!
