The winger joins Gary Liddle (groin) and Luke Williams on the sidelines due to a niggling muscle injury.

The rest of the Pools squad made the journey to Surrey on Friday, stopping to train at Oxford United on the way down.

Providing an injury update ahead of the match, Hartlepool manager Dave Challinor said: “We’re going pretty good, aside from Lidds who is getting closer and closer, we’re okay.

“Luke Molyneux has had a slight muscle injury just as a result of a build up from a previous match at Barnet so he hasn’t travelled as we didn’t think he was worth the risk.

"Williams is back in full training but he hasn’t travelled with us just due to the numbers we’ve got available at the moment, but he’ll train with everyone on Monday.

"Everyone aside from Lidds will train providing nothing goes wrong at Woking.”
