Gary Liddle is available for selection following a three month groin injury lay-off and could potentially be involved in the matchday squad this weekend.

Despite playing just two competitive matches so far this month, Pools have kept busy with practice games to ensure players are as close to match fit as possible.

Luke Molyneux (suspension) is the only guaranteed absentee following his straight red card in last weekend’s defeat at Weymouth.

Ahead of the game the Pools boss Dave Challinor provided a brief squad update as he said: “We’re okay, we’re in decent shape and have had a good week in terms of lads getting more minutes under their belt to put us in a good place.

"There’s nothing to report. Obviously, Mols misses out through suspension but other than that we can pick who we want.”
