Tuesday night’s match at The Shay (7pm kick-off) comes after the originally scheduled tie on January 2 was postponed due to a frozen pitch.

Now the rescheduled match appears to be in some doubt as Halifax have confirmed that another pitch inspection will be taking place from 1pm on Tuesday afternoon at The Shay.

Every game Dave Challinor’s side have had scheduled in 2021 so far has been subject to a pitch inspection. Thankfully, Saturday’s match against Wealdstone at Victoria Park went ahead as planned despite sub-zero temperatures as Pools claimed a fourth straight win.
