Luke Armstrong’s 11th goal of the season was enough to separate the sides in a game where both teams ought to have scored more.
The win means Dave Challinor’s side remain second in the National League table as they’re currently on their longest ever unbeaten streak in the National League.
Now they look ahead to Stockport County this Saturday.
