Pools took the lead after 22-minutes when Gavan Holohan’s cross was nodded in by Dover defender Kevin Lokko with Nicke Kabamba lurking.
The visitors looked to be holding out well for the three points despite the Dover pressure.
But Hartlepool’s stubbornness finally gave in as soon as the game went into stoppage time as substitute Nassim L’Ghoul rolled the ball past Mitch Beeney to see the spoils shared. Scroll down and click through the pages to see the Pools’ player ratings from the match...
1. Mitchell Beeney - 7
Made several good saves throughout the game including a stunning stop to deny Inih Effiong in the second half. A slip at the death denied him what would have been a deserved first Pools clean sheet. Photo: Mark Fletcher
2. Mark Kitching - 6
Typically positive going forward while looking less convincing defensively. A solid display overall. Photo: Mark Fletcher
3. Gary Liddle - 8
Kept Dover at bay well for 90-minutes before being denied a clean sheet late on. Several crucial interceptions and challenges. Photo: Mark Fletcher
4. Myles Anderson - 8
Thrown in at the deep end slightly after not starting a match for Pools since August. Put in a spirited performance full of endeavour against a physical and tricky Dover front line. Couldn’t quite deny L’Ghoul rolling in Dover’s equaliser despite his best efforts. Photo: FRANK REID
