After a goalless first half, Tom Denton put the hosts ahead from the penalty spot before a Will Evans own goal and debut strike from Ryan Johnson turned things around quickly for Pools.
Scott Boden was shown a straight red card for the Spireites late on as Pools continued their perfect start to the season.
