Boro were reportedly interested in the West Ham winger who signed for West Brom on loan instead. Diangana has hit the ground running at the Hawthorns and netted his fourth goal of the season in a 4-2 win over Cardiff, a result which propelled Slaven Bilic's side to the top of the Championship.
