After a goalless first half, goals from Luke Armstrong, Rhys Oates and a Nicky Featherstone penalty helped secure a fairly comfortable away win for Pools.

Mo Bettamer caused a late scare from the penalty spot but Pools were able to bounce back and secure victory to guarantee a play-off place.

Dominic Scurr here down in Aldershot as Pools look to get back to winning ways this afternoon.

After a 16 game unbeaten run, Dave Challinor’s side have now lost back to back games in the National League as they sit fourth in the table.

Victory for Hartlepool today and defeat for Stockport County against Torquay would see them climb back into the top three with two games remaining.

We’ll have all the build-up, updates and reaction to come in our live blog throughout the afternoon.
