Hartlepool United went top of the National League with a 2-0 win over promotion rivals Notts County.

Goals from Gavan Holohan and Richie Bennett were enough to secure a 11th victory out of 12 at Victoria Park for Pools and extend their unbeaten run to 14 games.

The match was shown live on BT Sport as Pools went top of the table for the time being.
