After a goalless first half, Pools trailed to a fine strike by Tom Knowles shortly after the restart.

But Luke Armstrong’s eighth goal of the season and a last-minute strike from Gavan Holohan set up brilliantly by Joe Grey helped Dave Challinor’s side come away with the win and go up to third.
