1: CLOSE! Sterry almost gets Pools off to a flyer
The opening minute of the game sees Pools attack with pace before Sterry drills a shot just wide of the left post from 25-yards. Good effort.
8: Things have calmed down now
Crewe have started to get their foot on the ball a bit more and ask questions of Pools. The hosts have had all the answers so far.
13: RED CARD! Sass-Davies is off
Great work and strength from Tyler Burey to get goal side of Billy Sass-Davies and charge down on goal. The Crewe man takes Burey out and is shown a straight red card.
15: Molyneux’s resulting free-kick deflects wide
Molyneux curls a low effort around the wall which deflects out for a corner to Pools. It comes to nothing as Crewe clear the danger.
