Pools have won one of their last seven league matches and are without a win at The Vic since the opening weekend of the season.
They face a Boreham Wood side who sit 18th despite recently progressing to the third round of the FA Cup to face Millwall.
Pools are without the suspended Timi Odusina for the game but do have David Ferguson and Rhys Oates back from injury
