Just three National League matches went ahead on Saturday as Notts County drew 1-1 at home to Woking while Stockport Stockport and Ebbsfleet United both claimed 1-0 home wins over Bromley and Chorley respectively.

Two of Saturday’s postponed matches were rearranged for a Tuesday night as Barrow beat Dover 1-0 but Barnet’s home match against Harrogate Town was abandoned with the score at 1-1.

“The results were the best possible results for us because the two teams in the play-off positions didn’t win,” Challinor said.

“We’ve dropped to 12th but it’s kept more teams involved in the chase which gives us a better chance of sneaking in."
