Hartlepool-born Savannah Marshall defender her WBO middleweight title last weekend.

And residents from the town were quick to pay tribute to Marshall, who defeated challenger Maria Lindberg on Saturday night via a third-round knockout on the undercard of Conor Benn v Samuel Vargas.
