People are invited to let their hair down this bank holiday weekend at Hartlepool's South Durham Social Club.

The club in Westbourne Road, also known as the Steelworks club, is holding a family fun day on Sunday, August 30, from noon including bouncy castle, barbecue, and children’s entertainment.

It is due to follow on from the return of a group of about 40 club members and supporters who are doing a charity bike ride from the club to Hartlepool Power Station, the Headland and back again.
