“All registrants have been contacted and the event will take place at a later date.”
But Hartlepool Borough Council is inviting people to hold their own Covid-19 secure memory walks on behalf of the Alzheimer’s Society on Sunday, September 20.
Caroline Webb from Hartlepool Borough Council’s Participation Team said: “Whilst we can’t stage our usual organised event, we would join the Alzheimer’s Society in inviting local residents to organise their own safe walks.
