Pools endured an extremely difficult evening at the Gateshead International Stadium and so it will be little surprise that there are no high scores in the ratings – take a look below:
9. Tom Crawford: 5
So often the most dynamic of his side's midfielders, Crawford barely laid a glove on his Gateshead counterparts in the engine room and spent most of his time chasing shadows. Photo: FRANK REID
10. Joe Grey: 7
The only player to emerge with any real credit, he reached double figures in a season for the first time in his career thanks to a well-taken opening goal and often threatened to exploit the Heed's high line in the first half. Photo: FRANK REID
11. Mani Dieseruvwe: 5
It's hard to be too critical of a player who has given so much to Pools this season but he was unable to make anything stick, albeit against a very impressive Gateshead back three. Photo: Frank Reid
12. Callum Cooke: 6
Will not have been pleased at having been left out, although what proceeded to happen in his absence from the XI will have done his case to return to the side no harm. Was introduced at an impossible time to make much of an impact, although he managed one excellent long ball to Grey that was a reminder of what he can do. Photo: Mark Fletcher
