I’m a digital reporter at the Yorkshire Evening Post, covering everything Leeds from breaking news and crime to the newest housing developments, with a special focus on property, planning and search-oriented content.
Before joining the YEP newsroom in May 2023, I worked as an SEO and trends writer across numerous National World publications, including the YEP, Yorkshire Post, The Scotsman and Blackpool Gazette. On the YEP, you will find my daily property features as well as the latest and most interesting plans and developments submitted to Leeds City Council.
I hold a BA degree in Journalism from the University of Gothenburg, where I spent two years studying before finishing my degree at Leeds Trinity University. I spent around a year at a local radio station, where I would broadcast live on location daily, before joining National World in July 2022.
Outside of work, my biggest passion is music, and I spend a lot of time at concerts and at music festivals. Recent highlights include The Chemical Brothers at First Direct Arena, a surprise gig by Bristol punks IDLES at Project House and Liam Gallagher’s latest collaboration with John Squire at O2 Academy. As for festivals, I consider myself lucky with the vast selection of local festivals on my doorstep - from one-day events such as Live at Leeds and Slam Dunk to weekenders like Leeds Festival.
