How two Hartlepool therapists say they are helping people drop a dress size in four weeks

Mary Blakey and Helen Jane from Hartlepool have joined forces to help others lose weight from the comfort of their own homes via Zoom calls.

The idea behind the hypnotherapy classes is to help people achieve the right mindset to allow them to lose weight, such as making unconscious decisions to choose healthier foods and activities.

The therapists claim that previous clients have lost up to 21 inches from their waists over a four week period.

Mary has explained that the basic process of losing weight is somewhat simple but people need the correct mindset to continue and sustain it.

She said: “I give the people wanting to reduce their weight the right mindset to be able to do it.

"Weight reduction is ultimately simple, but applying the basic rules which we are all well aware of is the challenge."

Helen has revealed that people making a huge lifestyle change gives her the satisfaction to continue helping others

She added: “This is the reason I do what I do, the satisfaction of helping people to make a lifestyle change which improves their health and makes them happier is wonderful.

“The difficult part is losing weight, the really hard part is keeping it off and that is where hypnotherapy can help."
