How you can help less fortunate children supported by two Hartlepool charities this Easter

Staff at a Hartlepool funeral directors are appealing to the whole community to help make sure less fortunate children do not miss out on an Easter treat.

Mason’s Funeral Directors is collecting Easter eggs for children supported by charities Harbour and Hartlepool Special Needs Support Group.

Staff are asking businesses, community groups and residents to drop off chocolate eggs or gifts at their office in Park Road.

Funeral service arranger Julia Masshedar said: “We hope that the local community will support us and help to make Easter an easier time for the families supported by Harbour and the Hartlepool Special Needs Support Group.

“Dignity colleagues across the country have helped bring a smile to face of others that may not have been expecting an Easter egg and we would like to do the same in our local area.”

To give an Easter egg please visit Mason’s between 9am and 5pm between Mondays and Fridays before the end of Tuesday, April 12.
