Earlier this month, the secondary school in Elwick Road moved into a new £18million building designed around its curriculum priorities.
It means High Tunstall’s old buildings, which have seen thousands of children and teenagers pass through over more than 40 years – not to mention all the staff – will soon be demolished.
So, before they bite the dust, take a last look around the familiar grounds and A, B and C blocks in these pictures taken by the school.
1. Ready for the off
