Axe and drugs recovered in police crackdown on organised crime

An axe was among the weapons recovered as part of an ongoing police crusade against organised crime.

A Cleveland Police statement said: “A drugs warrant was executed on South Avenue in Billingham on Friday, June 4, as part of Operation Endeavour to tackle serious and organised crime.

“Class B and C drugs, drugs paraphernalia and weapons were seized from the address.”
