Police remain in Hartlepool street after ‘substantial’ cannabis farm discovered

Police say a “substantial” cannabis farm has been discovered after a house raid.

Officers attended an address in Mulgrave Road, near Hartlepool town centre, late on the night of Monday, June 7.

They say they discovered a “substantial” cannabis farm at the property and remained at the scene and in the immediate area on Tuesday.

Cleveland Police have said no arrests have been made at this stage although inquiries are continues.

Police discovered a 'substantial' cannabis farm in Mulgrave Road in Hartlepool.

The force have also appealed for anyone with information to contact them.

A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said on Tuesday: “Police attended an address on Mulgrave Road, Hartlepool, late last night (Monday 7th June) where what is believed to be a substantial cannabis farm was discovered.

"Although no arrests have been made at this stage, inquiries are underway with officers at the scene and in the immediate area today.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact Cleveland Police via the 101 number, quoting ref 092895.”
