Drugs seized as police raid two Hartlepool properties in operation targeting organised and serious criminals

Police have raided two properties in Hartlepool looking for drugs as part of an ongoing crackdown on organised crime.

Officers rammed their way into properties in Gloucester Street and Dorset Street in Foggy Furze on Thursday, May 27.

Police say it followed information and complaints from the local community.

Officers found a quantity of unknown tablets and an amount of cannabis which was seized.

No one has been arrested, but police say inquiries are ongoing.

The drug warrants were carried out as part of Operation Endeavour, aimed at tackling and disrupting serious and organised crime.

A man was arrested after police found drugs and several weapons when they stopped and searched a Ford Fiesta Greta Avenue, Hartlepoool, on Saturday, May 22, under the operation.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Cleveland Police on the 101 number.
