Man arrested over multiple motoring allegations after Hartlepool collision

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was arrested in connection with multiple motoring allegations following a collision between two cars.

The incident happened around 4pm on Thursday, October 15, involving a blue Peugeot 206 and a black Saab at the junction of Hartlepool’s Mulgrave Road and Milton Road.

Cleveland Police said in a statement: “A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, theft of a motor vehicle, failing to stop for police, no licence, no insurance, driving whilst under the influence of drugs and possession with intent to supply class B drugs.

“The man has been released under investigation whilst inquiries continue.

“Anyone witnesses to the incident or anyone with dash cam footage is asked to contact PC Sarah Athey, from Hartlepool Neighbourhood Policing Team, on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 169433.
