Quad bike seized by police after shocking incident in Hartlepool street

Hartlepool Neighbourhood Police Team launched a search after a group of men who used a quad bike to drive at people on a Hartlepool street during an incident on Tuesday, March 2.
A spokesperson for the team said the men were riding in an antisocial manner “around vehicles parked in the street and driving towards members of the public, whom they forced to jump out of the road, whilst walking their dog.”

Hide AdOn Monday March 8, officers from the Hartlepool Neighbourhood Police Team attended an address on Lithgo Close, Seaton Carew, in connection with the incident.
As a result officers seized a large quad bike and an 18-year-old male is assisting officers.
Sgt 2310 Rashad said: "We will continue to pursue, off road vehicles which are being used illegally and disrupting the lives of our local communities".
