Incident near Hartlepool pub sees man taken to hospital with head injuries

An ambulance and police van were seen in a car park near The Gillen Arms, off Clavering Road, at around 11pm on Saturday, July 4.

A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed that a man in his 20s was taken to hospital.

The Mail has contacted Cleveland Police for further details on the incident. It is not yet known how the man came to be injured.
