Give your support to the Hartlepool fundraiser who will complete a 300-mile run dressed as Santa this weekend

Anthony Wheeler plans to complete the task before Christmas to raise money for Miles for Men.
The final stretch will be a 10-mile effort this Sunday, starting at 11am at the Clock Tower at Seaton Carew.

Hide AdBut Anthony is determined to do it in style by running as Santa Claus.
He added: “I know on Sunday when I finish, it will be one of the best things I have ever done. I would like to thank everyone for their donations and support.”
He has done the run in his spare time after his job of supplying the people of Hartlepool with daily fruit and veg from Fruit Fayre in Oxford Road where he works as a delivery driver.

Hide AdAnthony, 39, is also doing boot camp sessions from Monday to Thursday each week with the help of Steven Smith from the Body Doctors at Seaton Carew.
He began his quest to run for Miles for Men on September 2 and has been a strong supporter of the charity over the years. He has run the Miles for Men annual race six times and been involved in two charity boxing matches for the cause.
He said the run had become harder as the weather grew colder but he thanked everyone who has given support. People can support Anthony by donating here.
