Hartlepool creative project in line for share of £25,000 - but they need your vote

Creative Minds, based at Burbank Community Centre, is one of 24 local groups entered into the latest Middlesbrough and Teesside Philanthropic Foundation’s £25,000 Golden Giveaway.
Creative Minds supports, budding singers, musicians, and filmmakers with access to studios and tutors and has applied to the fund before without success.

Hide AdIt is involved in putting on a new Hartlepool’s Got Talent competition which starts this weekend.
They have already qualified for £500 funding, but stand to win up to £5,000 depending on how many people vote for them.
Round one of public voting opened on Monday, November 18, and ends at 10am on Monday, November 25.
Projects are split into six different voting groups and Creative Minds are in Group 1.

Hide AdTwo other Hartlepool organisations are also in the vote; Allstars Netball Club and STAGS.
The top organisation from each group with the most votes and the two highest voted overall runners up, will then go into round two with voting open until Monday, December 2.
The final four successful organisations will go into round three.
Jaime Horton, of Creative Minds, said: “We need people to vote for us.

Hide Ad“And the amount of money we get goes up the further along you get until the final.”
Jaime said the funding they receive will go to the cost of staging Hartlepool’s Got Talent with any left over going towards Creative Minds’ other services.
