They have already qualified for £500 funding, but stand to win up to £5,000 depending on how many people vote for them.

Round one of public voting opened on Monday, November 18, and ends at 10am on Monday, November 25.

Projects are split into six different voting groups and Creative Minds are in Group 1.

Two other Hartlepool organisations are also in the vote; Allstars Netball Club and STAGS.

The top organisation from each group with the most votes and the two highest voted overall runners up, will then go into round two with voting open until Monday, December 2.

The final four successful organisations will go into round three.

Jaime Horton, of Creative Minds, said: “We need people to vote for us.

“And the amount of money we get goes up the further along you get until the final.”

Jaime said the funding they receive will go to the cost of staging Hartlepool’s Got Talent with any left over going towards Creative Minds’ other services.
