The council-run leisure centre on Raby Road will initially be available for public lane swimming sessions and for club training when it reopens this week.

The facility had planned to reopen last month following the easing of lockdown restrictions, but had to be postponed following the discovery of collapsed drainage pipes beneath the swimming pool.
