The historic Grand Hotel in the centre of Hartlepool is entering a new era under new owners.

It is undergoing a top to bottom £1.3 million refurbishment after being bought by Otway Capital last year.
The owners invited the Mail inside to look at the impressive transformation as it gets ready to welcome guests again soon.
