Dave Challinor gives the latest on Hartlepool United midfielder Jason Kennedy ahead of Yeovil Town trip
Kennedy’s most recent start for Pools came under previous manager Craig Hignett as the 33-year-old scored a dramatic last minute winner against Yeovil Town at Victoria Park back in October.
And going into the reverse fixture against Yeovil at Huish Park this weekend, Kennedy has played just six minutes of football since Challinor took charge.

“Where we are at the minute, JK had missed quite a few games when we were pretty healthy in terms of numbers,” Challinor said.
“Now it’s not the case because we’ve got injuries and he’s now back into the fold.

“I’m by no means at a place where I’m desperate to get him out at all because he’s a great character to have around and trains unbelievably well every single day and just gets on with it so he’s a great example to every single player at the club. If he’s here and involved then for me, that’s no issue whatsoever.”
