Hide AdAnd with Pools set to travel to Halifax Town on Tuesday night (7pm kick-off), manager Dave Challinor is keen to get an extension sorted in time.
"Hopefully he won’t go back,” he said following Saturday's win. “We’ve had positive conversations with Blackburn so we’re waiting for them to come back.
"With his loan being up, we’re on a tight schedule whether that happens in time for Tuesday. Things work differently at Blackburn with their owners being over in India, things need to be passed across.
"I know they had a meeting on Friday and we’re hopeful of doing something but if that’s not the case then we need to make a change for Tuesday.

“Gary Liddle is close but won’t be available on Tuesday. If we do have to make a change for Tyler then [Lewis] Cass is available and he was unfortunate to miss out on Saturday.”
