Pools ran out 7-0 winners in an impressive performance with goals raining in from all over the park– here, our Hartlepool United reporter Dominic Scurr rates every Pools player on the pitch yesterday evening. Agree with our ratings? Let us know on social media.
9. Harrison Webster - 7
Introduced for Kitching at half-time. Young left-back Webster didn’t let himself down in that position once again. It will be interesting to see if and how he copes against stronger opposition. Photo: Michael Steele
10. Jason Kennedy - 7
Really should have added to his goal at the weekend after seeing several of his efforts blocked or miss the target. But still played his role as Pools added gloss to the scoreline late on. The trialist continues to impress in what is a highly competitive Hartlepool midfield. Photo: James Williamson
11. Luke Molyneux - 7
Guilty of trying too hard on occasions but continues to be a class act for Pools. Molyneux made countless driving runs into the penalty area which came to nothing in what was looking to be a frustrating evening for the 21-year-old before he curled in a fantastic free-kick in the dying moments of the match. 12. Nicke Kabamba - 7
Linked up very well with Gime Toure up-front following their introduction. A very unselfish display from Kabamba brought players into the game and led to Toure’s first goal before getting off the mark himself with a tap-in. Photo: Steven Hadlow
