Middlesbrough endured a difficult 3-2 defeat to Cardiff City last night, failing to claim an all-important equaliser after being 3-0 down after 75 minutes.

Duncan Watmore and Rodrigo Muniz bagged a goal each inside two minutes but they proved to be Boro’s only shots on target as they suffered their fourth defeat of the season.
