Here's what our Hartlepool United writer Robbie Stelling made of the Pools players after Nicky Featherstone's side secured a huge three points against one of their direct play-off rivals.

1. Nick Hayes: 6
Doesn't inspire much confidence and his distribution needs a lot of work. Did well to save substitute Bradley Stevenson's late effort and, importantly, parry the ball clear of danger. Photo: Frank Reid

2. Jay Benn: 8
Made a real impact at both ends of the pitch and had a hand in Tyrese Sinclair's first goal, picking out Matty Daly with a deft ball over the top. Conceded a late penalty that led to Solihull pulling one back deep into added time following a slightly clumsy challenge but was exhausted by that point having given everything for his side. 3. Maxim Kouogun: 6
Did some good defensive work for his side but felt he never quite got to grips with the powerful and combative Conor Wilkinson. Photo: Frank Reid

4. Reiss McNally: 6
Felt like Pools were never in complete control defensively having been generally so impressive this season. The former Solihull man was forced off with an injury early on in the second half, although Nicky Featherstone said afterwards he didn't think it was serious. Photo: Frank Reid
