Here's what our Hartlepool United writer Robbie Stelling made of the Pools players after Nicky Featherstone's side secured a huge three points against one of their direct play-off rivals.

9. Gavan Holohan: 5
Had a bit of a nightmare start to the game, conceding a penalty that resulted in Solihull's opener - albeit it looked like an extremely harsh decision from referee Ben Atkinson - before scoring a bizarre and slightly comical own goal after 24 minutes, catching Nick Hayes out with an overhit back-pass. To his credit, he stuck to his task well and had a hand in his side's second goal, making a good run in-between the lines and flashing a searching ball across the face of goal, which ended up falling to the feet of Jamie Miley to lash home from the edge of the box. Even so, an afternoon he'd probably rather forget. Photo: Frank Reid

10. Tyrese Sinclair: 9
Outstanding against one of his former sides, scoring his first two Pools goals, showing a willingness to take on his man all afternoon and doing some really good defensive work, particularly in the closing stages. The one player to provide genuine quality in a game that was otherwise defined by mishaps and mistakes. Photo: Frank Reid

11. Alex Reid: 6
Ended a run of four games without a goal by heading home from close range after 40 minutes but needs to do much more when it comes to leading the line. Certainly isn't helped by a lack of service but Pools fans would surely like to see him be a bit stronger and work harder to occupy opposition defences. Photo: Frank Reid

12. Tom Parkes: 6
Won plenty in the air after replacing the stricken Reiss McNally three minutes into the second half and helped organise the Pools back line following a torrid opening period. Photo: Frank Reid
