Here's what our Hartlepool United writer Robbie Stelling made of the Pools players after they battled to a second successive goalless draw over the Easter weekend.

5. Jay Benn: 8
Feared he might have been in for a long afternoon up against the tricky Allarakhia but got the better of the battle and produced a number of important defensive interventions, notably when he diverted Rodney's strike over the bar before half time. Could still do more in an attacking sense but made plenty of threatening forward runs and picked out Alex Reid with an excellent cross in the opening period. Photo: Frank Reid

6. Jamie Miley: 7
Was positionally astute and purposeful with his passing, even if there were times when his lack of physicality was exposed. Can be pleased with his performance and was a little unfortunate to have been taken off. Photo: FRANK REID

7. Nathan Sheron: 8
Lost the ball on one occasion in the first half when he misdirected a header intended for Miley but was otherwise neat and tidy in possession while he screened the back line well all afternoon and his energy and industry meant Pools gave as good as they got in the engine room. Photo: Frank Reid

8. Matty Daly: 5
Took up some decent positions but was so wasteful in possession and passed up a good opportunity to find Tyrese Sinclair in space as Pools broke forward in the first half. Would have liked to see him do a little bit more without the ball. Photo: FRANK REID
