Raj Singh is now the club’s only listed officer following Scobbie’s departure which is understood to be due to his work commitments elsewhere.

As manager, Challinor tries not to get too involved in the club politics behind the scenes but he still had some kind words regarding Scobbie’s work at Victoria Park.

"We’re in our own little bubble and we stay away from the off the field stuff as much as possible,” Challinor admitted.

“In terms of the help he’s given us from the back end of last season, he’s been really good and helped us get a lot of deals over the line.

"He’s done that alongside a full-time job so it’s been tough for him. It doesn’t change much, he’ll still be coming to games and he’s still just a phone call away because he loves the football side of the club.”
