The 21-year-old was forced off with a hamstring injury 20-minutes into Saturday’s ill-fated National League defeat to Torquay United at Victoria Park.

He has now been ruled out of the visit to the Peninsula Stadium this weekend and will be a doubt for Pools’ next National League match at Eastleigh the following week.

“[The injuries] leaves us short and we need to look at bringing people in,” he admitted.

“After the FA Cup game, we’ll have 11 games in the next five and a half weeks which is a big ask.

"We obviously need to get at least one player in but it might well be that we get more in than that, though it's easier said than done.”
