Heartbreak as family pay tribute to motorcyclist who died in Christmas Day collision
Michael Crooks lost his life after a collision involving his motorbike and a car in Belasis Avenue, Billingham.
Now his devastated family have paid tribute to the 32-year-old, who was from Billingham, in a touching statement.

Hide AdHis family said: “Michael was a dearly loved son and was loved by all that had the pleasure of knowing him.
“We are in shock at his loss and our lives will never be the same without him.”
The family have asked for privacy as they grieve together.
An appeal for information is ongoing as police officers investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash which happened at around 1pm on Friday, December 25.
Part of Belasis Avenue was closed near the Quorn factory as emergency services dealt with the incident an an investigation launched.

Hide AdThe force said on December 25 that the driver of the Hyundai, a woman aged in her fifties, was taken to hospital with a suspected broken wrist and minor injuries.
Urging any witnesses to come forward, a spokesman for the force said: “Police continue to appeal for information and witnesses to the collision which occurred at approximately 1pm hours on Friday 25th December 2020 and involved a Suzuki motorbike and a Hyundai.
"We would also appeal for anyone with dash-cam footage which may assist to contact Sgt Steve Clyburn of the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on 101, reference SE20208654.”
