Hartlepool coast set to be lit up in free fireworks display sponsored by X-energy
The sky over Seaton Carew will be lit up as Hartlepool Borough Council stages its annual popular fireworks display this weekend.
Thousands of visitors are expected to turn out for the event on Sunday, November 1, which also includes a packed afternoon and evening of entertainment and live performances.

It all takes place from 2pm to 7pm in the area around the iconic Clock Tower on Seaton Carew seafront.
Headline sponsor X-energy, which is leading on new nuclear investment in Hartlepool, is once again supporting the event.
Visitors can enjoy a children's fairground, tuck into delicious street food and soak up the atmosphere with music and entertainment throughout the day.
At 6.30pm the skies above Seaton will burst into colour for the spectacular fireworks display on the beach between the bus station and the children’s play area.
Councillor Rob Darby said: “We're looking forward to welcoming thousands of people for what promises to be another unforgettable event, and I'd encourage everyone to come along, enjoy the festivities and support the fantastic local businesses taking part.”
Given the event’s popularity, people are advised to walk if possible or take public transport.
A number of road and parking restrictions will be in place throughout the day.
The Front will be closed to traffic between Station Lane and Elizabeth Way from 4pm until around 8.30pm.
The Rocket House Car Park will be closed throughout the whole day and and on-street parking will be suspended on The Front between Station Lane and Church Street.
