Hartlepool singer Michael Gallgher teams up with Hartlepool Food Bank
A singer and songwriter from Hartlepool is supporting a town charity at his next home gig in Hartlepool.
Michael Gallagher is performing at the Hartlepool Town Hall Theatre on Saturday, November 14 where he will also be raising money and ollecting donations for the Hartlepool Food Bank.
Michael said: “It is a charity that I have worked with previously and know first-hand the great work they do.
“They are small, with only three staff and a team of volunteers, but despite their size, they have a massive impact in the town.
"Last year, they helped over 5,000 people when they needed emergency support.
“I think it’s extremely important to support charities if and when you can – especially charities that do such good work in our town for people who need it most.”
Hartlepool Food Bank will have a collection bucket at the merch stand on the night and will be taking donations of tinned meat, fish, fruit and vegetables, and packets of noodles.
