Hartlepool United extend loan of Hull City youngster until end of the season - including National League play-offs
Hartlepool United have extended the loan of Hull City teenager Calvin Okike until the end of the season, the club have confirmed.
The versatile 18-year-old, who has scored once in three substitute appearances since joining on loan from the Championship promotion-chasers in February, is now set to remain at Victoria Park until the end of the current campaign - including the play-offs, should Nicky Featherstone's side upset the odds and sneak into the top seven.

The highly rated youngster, who is understood to be held in high regard at the MKM Stadium, had to bide his time before making his Pools bow but enjoyed a dream debut against rivals Carlisle United last month, scoring within 16 seconds of his introduction.
In a truly memorable moment, Okike scored with his first touch in professional football, firing home the rebound after Sam Folarin's initial effort had been saved by Gabriel Breeze, as Pools secured an emphatic win over the big-spending Cumbrians.
Since then, Okike has made two further substitute appearances, featuring in defeats to Sutton United and Halifax Town.
Featherstone, who was born in Goole and made his professional debut for Hull, has been keen to make use of his connections in East Yorkshire ever since replacing Simon Grayson in October.
In particular, the 37-year-old has been eager to use his relationship with Hull assistant boss Dean Holden, who was a teammate of his at Walsall, as well as loans manager Andy Dawson.
Having signed winger Pharrell Brown earlier in the campaign, Pools swooped to welcome Okike on an initial one-month work experience loan as Featherstone looked to add cover and competition on the left side.
Speaking to the Hartlepool Mail at the end of last month, the Pools boss revealed he had been delighted with Okike's impact in the North East so far.
"We went in a little bit blind on the initial deal but we did it based on the recommendations of two people I really trust and respect," he said.
"We've seen a lot to like from Calvin, he comes with really good pedigree. They speak really highly of him at Hull and they're fully expecting him to have a career much, much higher than this level."
