Here's what our Hartlepool United writer Robbie Stelling made of the Pools players as Nicky Featherstone's side battled to a hard-fought point against Scunthorpe United.

9. Adam Campbell: 6
Wasn't able to make much of an impact in an attacking sense other than a couple of sweeping forward balls but worked his socks off and produced a handful of important defensive interventions, sliding in to thwart Pat Jones in the first half. Photo: Frank Reid

10. Matty Daly: 6
Was faced with a bit of a thankless task but did his best to influence the game and get on the ball. Still feel as though he lacks a bit of conviction at times and is more workmanlike than some of Nicky Featherstone's other attacking options; that said, those qualities made him a good fit for Featherstone's game plan at Glanford Park. Did really well to fashion a late chance for Alex Reid but spurned an opportunity of his own on the follow-up, blazing over from a good position. Photo: Frank Reid

11. Vadaine Oliver: 4
Was hard to fathom the sense behind asking him to lead the line with no pace or running power in and around him and, predictably, he was isolated all afternoon. Kept going but still looks to be lacking match sharpness and Pools were far more threatening once he was replaced. Photo: Frank Reid

12. Alex Reid: 6
Will be disappointed not to have won the game when he diverted an instinctive effort against the woodwork from close range in the sixth and final minute of added time. Nonetheless, the experienced frontman made a big difference after his introduction and was far more effective at leading the line than Vadaine Oliver. Photo: Frank Reid
